Shakhala’s pedigree is full
of Australian show ring greats.
She is a daughter of one of the most prominent sons of *El Shaklan, Amir
el Shaklan, bred and owned until his passing in 2006 by Fairview Stud, Sydney,
Australia. He is the sire of National and International Champions, including
1993 Australian National Champion and 1997 US National Champion Stallion,
*Fairview KLASSIQUE.
Her mother, Fairview Egyptian Ghazal, was a daughter of National Stud Show
Junior Champion and super sire, Arabian Park Egyptian Prince and her tale female
line traces to Sobah (1879) one of Lady Wentworth’s most precious
desert imports.
Shakhala, was a very
important show horse in Australia, especially as a young filly. She was noted
for her extreme type and presence, and won many honors, even fearlessly dueling
with *KLASSIQUE on one occasion, unsuccessfully,
for the title of Supreme Purebred Arabian Exhibit of the 1993 Queensland
Title Show, one of Australia’s national level events.
